SYNOPSIS OF MAY 2018 TRIP

• Just under 100 projects visited in poor Rural and Jungle districts in Eastern and Central Sri Lanka.
• 33 projects satisfactorily completed from Phase 17.
• All sponsored children and Montessori Schools seen.
• New projects assessed.Individual circumstances of House occupants and their properties investigated.
• Phase 18 projects approved.
• 1,500 bags of cement, 13,500 concrete blocks, 13 loads of sand, 326 roofing sheets and 80 wooden beams purchased for distribution.
• 50 Food Packs and a large shipment of clothing/toysand books distributed.
• Further projects to be considered by OIAL at next Meeting.
