When this case was brought to OIAL Colin Bray found a surgeon who lived in the UK and ran  "The Face Forward Foundation"  and arranged to have the operation performed by   Dr. Thiravlam Sabesan, who did this operatioin in Sri Lanka free of charge with OIAL paying for all other costs and expenses.

The swim suits will be gifted to children who cannot afford a swim suit or find it difficult to buy a swim suit. They will be either for normal children or differently abled children, some of the children are either deaf or blind.   The swim wear will not be given in ‘one go’  as  it will be given to  the most deserving .   Candleaid train 50 normal children and 10 differently abled children every month to swim and they learn to swim 25 meters in 12 lessons the success rate is around 94 % .

This is a new Bathroom for Sandya Kumari, she s a bi limb user who supports her mother and young children by sewing.  The only toilet she had was a chair which was used with seat cut out to be used with bucket.
